Friday, October 25, 2002 ( 11:30 AM ) JZ Happy FRIDAY!!!!!! I am so doing a happy dance, I am so glad it is Friday, I need it to be Friday! Woohoo phone banking is done, no more having pizza on EVERY Tuesday and Thursday anymore! Thank you Lord. I am SO over pizza. Ok so I think I get a football break tonight, because the love of my life would rather watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown then go to a High School game! Wooohhooo! But we may still go out with everyone after the game, that’s the best part. Then tomorrow I have a Creative Memories class, then Scott’s football game. Sunday I have a pampered chef party and then we are having dinner at our house for my mom and sister’s birthday’s. What are you doing this weekend? # Thursday, October 24, 2002 ( 10:43 AM ) JZ Thursday, Thusday one more day closer to Friday! Last night was so fun. We went for drinks at 4:30 and I got home at 9:15! Hi Happy Hour-2 for 1! We even started planning our girls time in Vegas for Spring Break! Is it April yet? I was just looking up rates for Paris Las Vegas, wow we could stay for really cheap! I LOVE that hotel, I think it is perfect for girls get away! Tonight is the last night that we have the phone bank for the Bond issue. Thank you thank you thank you. I can finally go back to having a normal life again, maybe I will even get to see the gym at a decent hour again. We have been having phone banks every Tuesday/Thursday for all of October. I really hope it passes. # Wednesday, October 23, 2002 ( 1:22 PM ) JZ Wednesday! Yay I think I have set a record of blogging three days in a row! By now though I don’t think too many people are here anymore, plus I know that I don’t have too many exciting things to blog about! J I’m trying really! Ok so I forgot to share yesterday that I found out about the interview, and I didn’t get the job. Don’t feel bad, this is a very good thing. I am so glad that it worked out that way, if I had been offered the job, I still would have declined it, so….this saved me from having to do that. Ok so happy hour tonight, with some friends from work. The local Sushi place in town has two-for-one drinks! Woohooo! Oh ya, it is Red Ribbon Week isn’t it?! Ok shhh don’t tell anyone. Then I think I might go home and scrapbook a little! I haven’t scrapbooked since the summer, and barely even then. # Tuesday, October 22, 2002 ( 11:07 AM ) JZ Tuesday! Hey I am doing pretty good here. Blogging two days in row! Things are just moving right along. It is Red Ribbon Week, so we all got to wear our “Favorite Activity Clothes” so I have on my yoga pants, a long sleeve t-shirt and tennis shoes. I am SO comfortable, do I have to work today? Please keep my friend Kerry and her family in your prayers today! I am thinking about you guys! Ok question, just to see if any of you are paying attention. Do any of you listen to Faith Hill? If you know me, you know I am a HUGE fan, and of course had her new CD the day it came out. If you have it, or have heard it, what do you think of it? # Monday, October 21, 2002 ( 10:14 AM ) JZ Oh yes and a little work update….. I will have a clerical sub until November 20th now! It has once again been extended. Yay! Also I went to the interview at the other elementary school last Friday. I didn’t really feel comfortable about it. I am really almost hoping the job is not offered to me, I don’t want to have to make a decision. I am really struggling with it, I feel like I need to stay here, I mean I don’t think I can leave the Principal with a sub and no office manager. And I really have established myself here, and I am not sure I want to start completely over at a new school. If it was a middle school it might be different. Hmmm hopefully I won’t have to make the decision. # ( 10:03 AM ) JZ Monday again? I think we should outlaw Mondays. But then I guess we would all hate Tuesdays, right?! I really don’t want to be at work today, it is cool outside and I would much rather be snuggled in my bed sleeping. This weekend was a lot of fun. My first trip to Laughlin. It’s not Vegas by any means, but it was a lot of fun none the less. Lot’s of Wheel of Fortune slots and Blackjack. Didn’t win much, but more then we usually do. And of course we visited the Outlet mall and I got some great deals at The Gap! I am sure that was Scott’s favorite part of the trip! ;) Our hotel was nice but the service was a nightmare, we arrived at 10:42pm to find out that they had cancelled our reservations at 10:38pm. When we made the reservations we explained that we would probably not arrive until 11pm. Ok minor set back, right? Um no! We finally get everything squared away and go to the room, I walk in and think this is odd, there are two beds, hmm ok well we asked for a King and got two doubles. We call the desk and they tell us to go back and get new keys. Um NO! So yes I was a b**ch and made them bring the new room keys to us. So now we move rooms, now it will all be Ok right? Well the next day we went shopping went to some other hotels and just hung out, we got back around 5:30pm to get tickets to the show for that night, change get dinner and see the show. We go to our room, and lo and behold it has never been cleaned! I know it is not the big of a deal I mean we are still staying in the same room, but I am huge on cleanliness, so I was pissed. Scott calls the front desk and she says “Oh well we still show you staying in the other room. I am surprised your key even worked. You need to come and get new keys.” Ok no! So she tells us that the room will be cleaned by the time we return that night, and to just pick up keys whenever. The show was awful, we left half way through, and went and played black jack J Oh well what can you do. We still had a lot of fun together. Now back to a brand new week of craziness! #
